🎾 First 5 Minute Experience With The Wilson Shift 99 300 Project Labs Tennis Racket 👀

Do tennis rackets have a soul? If so, the new Wilson Shift is otherworldly. My first 5 minute experience with the Wilson Shift 99 300 Project Labs , which you can see in this video, has prove me that I don’t know anything about tennis rackets. Or at least what I knew about them wasn’t enough.

This racket feels from the very first shots different. It feels like it is part of the game. It was only after these few minutes, when I was constantly changing rackets from the Wilson Shift 300 to another Wilson racket – the Ultra 100 v4.0 and completing the round with a third racket from Dunlop – the famous Dunlop FX500 Tour.

I didn’t realize that testing three very different tennis rackets can be so amusing and fantastic at the same time. Shift is literally shifting in your hand. It shifts the ball trajectory in a way that wasn’t possible untill now. You feel that the connection with the racket and the feel for the ball goes far beyond the known experience.

It is like when you catch the ball in your hand – palm and you throw it. The dwell time of the ball on the strings is longer. It feels more rich and the snapback kicks the ball into his butt so heavily, it creates impressive RPMs throughout the entire ride onto the opponents field. The balls can be very high, but they fall down very fast.

The spin feels weird and satysfying at the same time. You feel like you cannot miss. And for sure there were moments of constant amazement. Strung with the legendary Luxilon ALU Power, I felt greatly in control most of the time. I can’t wait to test this racket more. It looks like we have a new breed of tennis rackets in the house. I wish this fascinating journey has an happy ending.
